Q. Why do you enjoy capturing weddings?

A. Weddings bring about so many emotions and we want to be there to capture them. There is a lot of planning that goes into a wedding. We value the time and dedication of each vendor who helps create this wonderful day for you. We want to give you the gift of remembering... the delicious cake, her gorgeous dress, his precious reaction, your sweet first dance, the ecstatic lady who catches the bouquet, beloved family members, and many more. We are grateful to be a part of one of the best days of your lives.

 

Q. What are lifestyle sessions?

A. Your story and the stories of those in your life are very special and worth celebrating. We want to join in on the fun if you are... adding a member to the family, stamping a moment in time or just simply, living life as we photograph you. We are excited to enjoy this time in your life with you.

 

Q. What kind of commercial services do you offer?

A. All of them! We enjoy collaborating with and working alongside other businesses both large and small. We are the right creatives for the job if you would like... professional photographs of your team, your products displayed in an artistic way, or to invite us into your story and bring us along to an event. In addition to the above mentioned, we offer (re)branding and web design. 

 

Q. How would you describe your shooting and editing style?

A. Artistic and vintage - We use lenses dated between 1960 + 1980. We like shallow a depth of field, dramatic ultra-wide angles, and lens flares. We want every shot to be exceptionally + intentionally composed. When editing we begin with a preset or a LUT of an actual vintage film such as Kodak Portra or Fugifilm Superia, Etc. We want our photographs and films to be a complimentary, yet classic look.

 

Q. What is your booking process?

A. Weddings: To reserve us for your date we require a non-refundable retainer fee which amounts to 40% of your package price + a signed contract. Your remaining balance will be due two weeks prior to your wedding. 

Lifestyle and Commercial:  To reserve us for your session/event we require the full payment + a signed contract.

Q. What payment methods do you receive?

A. Our go-to and preferred payment method is Venmo. Venmo is a FREE money transfer app from one bank account to another. You can find us under “@jakeandvictoria” and you will see our logo as our icon.

Q. Do you offer payment plans for your wedding packages?

A. Yes, Contact us + we will find the right plan for you.

 

Q. Will you travel?

A. Yes! We enjoy traveling to new places + are available worldwide! The fee for mileage is on us if your wedding/session/event takes place within forty miles of Greenville, SC. Should you need us to travel beyond that perimeter we charge $.54 per mile, which is the Federal Mileage Rate. In addition, we may request lodging accommodations and a food stipend. Please contact us to receive an exact quote.

 

Q. Do you work alongside other photographers or videographers?

A. Yes! If you have already booked a photographer we are happy to be your videographers and vise versus. We enjoy working alongside other vendors; however, we do request that we are the only ones providing the service(s) for which you have reserved us.

 

Q. Do you have a list of wedding vendor recommendations?

A. Yes! Once you have reserved us for your day we can provide that list for you.

 

Q. Do you have a tentative itinerary and shot list?

A. Yes! We trust you have the most organized + efficient wedding coordinator; however, should they need such documents from us we would be happy to provide those for them.

 

Q. Can I pick the song for my wedding film?

A. Yes, we have a subscription to Art List and you are welcome click here to choose your song. Your film length will follow the ratio: one minute per one hour of filming. Please choose a song in accordance with that time. (i.e. If we film for eight hours, your wedding film will be eight minutes long and will need an eight minute song.) Should you request for to use a song that we would need to license, that option is available; however, the licensing fee will be added to your to package price.

 

Q. How will we receive our wedding film and video?

A. You will receive your film and video on a USB via mail.

 

Q. How many photographs do you deliver?

A. The amounts of photographs we deliver varies between 25 and 100 photographs per hour.

 

Q. Do You Release Any RAW Photographs or Footage?

A. No, we do not. Reason being - when you reserve us for your wedding/session/event you are investing in a full service + we want to provide you with nothing short of our best work. We are confident in not only our shooting style but, also, our editing craft. Even more so, we believe those go hand and hand.

 

Q. What Is Your Delivery Timeline?

A. Photographs: 2-4 weeks // Films + Videos: 4-16 weeks
